The configuration works quite well as the Origins Core has some of the brightest RGB LEDs I have ever seen on a keyboard, and they truly add a stunning pop of color to your setup. Also on display are the entirely exposed switches which feature transparent bodies to allow the LEDs to shine better and brighter. Peering from the side, you can see that the keyboard has a slight curve out of the box, and can gain height thanks to its three-way adjustable keyboard feet.

The strong build quality translates to a keyboard that doesn’t creak under pressure, and is perfect for heavy-handed gamers or those that tend to hyperventilate during streams (I’ll have to stop with the puns now). As such, the keyboard is hefty despite being fairly petite, but also feels solid in the hands and exuberantly premium to the touch. Most high-end keyboards feature an aluminum top-plate, but HypeX chose to treat itself and made a full-size order. Its slim-bezels and absence of unnecessary keys help it maintain a lean shape.Ī particularly impressive part about the Origins Core is that its body is entirely made of air-craft aluminum. Like the Origins, the Origins Core is a no-frills, no-nonsense keyboard that doesn’t feature anything more than what’s required. This is a keyboard size that appeals to players that require more space to move their mouse, and with that in mind, the Origins Core keeps it as simple and compact as possible. The Origins Core is a TKL keyboard, meaning that it is missing the entire numpad section.

The local edition also supports the Arabic language, which is a neat touch.
